Join TreesDavidson and the Town of Davidson this Saturday, March 22nd at 4 p.m. for a tree planting event commemorating Arbor Day. The tree planting will take place on Jackson Street, and a dozen street trees will be planted.
TreesDavidson is a group of volunteers who are operating under the ‘incubation’ of the Davidson Lands Conservancy. In 2013 nearly 90 new trees were planted in Davidson, including oaks and cherries in the Westside Terrace neighborhood, and maples and oaks in the McConnell community.
Planting a tree is a great experience for all ages. If you can’t plant, consider bringing drinks and snacks to the planters.

We’ll gather at the grassy area at the corner of Jackson Street and Depot Street (just outside of the Metrolina Warehouse). Please park on Jackson Street or in one of the public parking areas.
